2016 was a year filled with fun and adventure… from seaside to NY to Vegas to Alaska! Going back 10 years was a journey I thought would be fun but my heart was not prepared 🥲 to realize how time flies in the wonder years! Doing this trend was a great reminder to savor everyday, relish in the little moments and make time (plan and save) to travel - exploring new places and people creates stories that translate to memories for a lifetime ❤️

This is what Christmas tastes like to me 🤍

There’s something so special about a family recipe. Today, I’m sharing my grandmother’s crème de vie (Cuban eggnog), also known as the cream of life.

This recipe has lived at the heart of our holidays for as long as I can remember. One sip instantly brings me back to Christmases filled with warmth, laughter, and love. With Noche Buena tomorrow, it felt especially meaningful to share something so close to my heart.

- Feels nostalgic, cozy, and straight out of a holiday movie

-Pine needles everywhere
-Lights = a full cardio workout
-January comes and suddenly… goodbye, tree

Since I was a little girl waking up to the Macy’s Thanksgiving day parade to kick off the holiday season has been a tradition I look fowatd to every year … drinking my chocolate milk, which then turned to my Café con Leche in front of the TV, but in 2015 that Dream to one day be there in person came true!

In 2015, the “elves” dropped Macy’s Thanksgiving day parade passes down our chimney… this is an unforgettable memory that today reminds me to never stop believing and as I watch the parade on TV today, my heart went back to that beautiful memory 10 years ago, and I realized the importance of having dreams and chasing them (I want to go back and kick off the holidays in the streets on NY along with the Rockettes 🤩😜)

I am feeling so blessed and grateful today to have my nest full, to be with my family and friends, grateful for our good health, for living in South Florida, for the abundance of food, and also the little things such as my breath, and beautiful sunshine ☀️ and so much more…

Since we are in the season of "giving thanks", I’ve been taking time to notice the little things that fill my cup and what I am grateful for and honestly, it’s makes all the difference.

Here’s what’s been filling mine these days:
• Morning walks (no phone, just quiet)
• Facetime with my boys in college
• Meaningful client conversations
• Fresh flowers in my room
• Coffee dates with friends
• A good book (even the audio version) and a kicka## playlist (thanks @aspenshakti)

it’s not always big moments… it’s these small reminders and moments of gratitude that help us slow down and come back to ourselves.
